The Centre for Children and Young People’s Participation is designed to promote and develop participatory research and practice with children and young people. To help achieve this vision, and to work as widely as possible to support the development of participation, from time to time we invite selected individuals outside UCLan to become Associates of The Centre, and seek to create opportunities to collaborate with them and share learning.

We value the expertise, skills and practice expertise that our Associates bring to the work of The Centre, and to the sector as a whole; many of them are leading experts in their respective fields. Our Associates share our values and beliefs in terms of participatory work with children and young people at all levels of society, and a commitment to promoting pathways for participation in communities, institutions and organisations.
